![]() ![]() Throw the scythe guard into a wave serpent and fly them up the field to get with 7" of something (trying to get within 7" of two targets) deepstrike the cannon guard and Yvraine near two viable targets and delete one with Word of the Phoenix in the psychic phase and the other in the shooting phase also throw the blades into a wave serpent and get them into combat asap (again, trying to get as close as possible to two units so that you can either move towards the secondary one after killing the first, or if you can get into combat with both, fighting twice) if you take the Yvraine, throw her down near the cannon guard and Yvraine when you delete those units to provide some durability to them (since theres a 100% chance that they will get shot at after youve deepstruck them). If you really wanted to go all out, take two units of Wraithguard (one with scythes and one with cannons), one unit of Wraithblades, and Yvraine (you could add the Yncarne too) in a Vanguard detachment. The same principle could be done with D-scythe wraithguard (would have to get them into range with a wave serpent since you need to be within 7" to soulburst and deepstrike is 9"+). Since soulburst is limited to one action per "phase" per turn, you want to limit the amount of Ynnari units that you have, a lot of people will take a single Dark Reapers unit as an Auxiliary (-1 CP) and try to trigger that soulburst to double tap them, or take three units with Yvraine for a spearhead detachment and use Word of the Phoenix to double tap the Dark Reapers. ![]() Sadly, there is literally no point in taking a full detachment of Ynnari anymore. otherwise, we are all just people who enjoy the game.įeel free to message the Mods with any other ideas for ground rules, otherwise have fun!
